All-Star duo Seamus Scanlon and Pearse O'Neill have been drafted into the Munster team for Sunday's M Donnelly Interprovincial Football Championship final against Ulster in Ruislip (throw-in 2pm).

Kerry All-Ireland winner Scanlon will partner Cork's Nicholas Murphy in the province's midfield, taking over from Alan O'Connor and Patrick Kelly who were in centre-field for the semi-final defeat of Connacht.

O'Connor will take his place on the bench this weekend, while Kelly will line out in an all-Cork half-forward line alongside O'Neill and team captain Donncha O'Connor.

Cork have the biggest representation in the side with five players, Waterford have four, Kerry and Limerick have two each and goalkeeper Paul Fitzgerald is the only Tipperary player to make the starting line-up.

Managed by Cork selector Ger O'Sullivan, Munster are bidding to win back-to-back Interpro football titles for the first time since 1982.

Their opponents Ulster, whose manager Joe Kernan has delayed naming his team selection, were last champions in 2007.
